Sandra Shadden Nichols

Sandra Shadden Nichols of Pecan Plantation, Texas passed away at the age of 84 on June 13, 2024 in the comfort of her home after a courageous battle with several health problems. Sandra was born July 23, 1939, to J.W. and Margaret Shadden in Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother Bryan Shadden, of Idalou, Texas. Sandra was strong in her Faith. She was a homemaker and she loved the job. She was tireless at attending to and loving her three kids and four grandchildren. Her warmth and compassion was felt by everyone she met. Sandra is survived by her husband Mike Nichols; son Scott Nichols and wife Tina, of Cypress, Texas; daughter SuZanne Bailey and husband Nathan Bailey of Sulphur Springs, Texas; son Shad Nichols of Granbury, Texas; and grandchildren Alyssa, Austin, and Taylor Nichols and Kadyn Bailey. A celebration of life is planned for Friday June 28th at the Nichols home with family and friends.
