Sarah Maxine Lansing

Sarah Shires Lansing was born Sarah Maxine Branum to Maggie and Than Branum on Feb. 10, 1923 in Roxton, Texas and died on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, 12301 South Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76028. A reception will follow the service at Highland Church of Christ, 1201 Sycamore School Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Altis Ray (Bill) Shires and Thomas Lansing; her son Billy Ray Shires; two sisters; and three brothers. Survivors: Son, Gary and his wife Dabney and daughter Beth; two grandsons Kelin Gordon and Hunter Gordon and her brother, Glenn Branum along with several nieces and nephews.
