Scott Perry, of Irving, TX passed from this life to the next peacefully August 4 of 2025 at the age of 56.
Born December 10, 1968 in Illinois, Scott fell in love with Texas early in life, likely from stories from our family from generations past. He moved to the state shortly after graduating from college. For over 30 years, he lived in Irving, where he worked as a self-employed computer tech, cameraman, and audiometer specialist.
Scott’s love was always trains and planes – and he lived just a few minutes away from DFW airport where he was always close to exceptional viewing of flights coming in and out of the metroplex. His job kept him on a road for several weeks a year, and he was already ready for the long road trips, where he could explore new places and restaurants. Known for his warm smile, gentle spirit, and deep faith, he loved going to services at numerous local churches and attending concerts and conference in the area. He was also always ready to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, reminding everyone that it was "America's team"
He is survived by his father, Travis Perry, and sister Lori (Chris) Heiselman of Nashville, TN. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Margaret Perry.
He will be very missed.
