Sherri Jeannette Harvey passed away peacefully at her home in Burleson, Texas on October 3, 2023. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at First Baptist Church in Plano, Texas on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Sherri was born on January 12, 1955, in Lubbock, Texas to Elwyn and Dorothy Fulfer. Sherri was a graduate of Monterrey High School and was a resident of Lubbock for 37 years before moving to the DFW area. Sherri was the mother to Matthew Rampy and Holly (Rampy) Baird. She married the love of her life, Richard Harvey, in 1989 at Highland Baptist Church, where they were both longtime members. Sherri became a licensed vocational nurse in 1985 and proudly worked in the medical field as an ICU nurse for many years. In 1997, Sherri began a new professional path as a court reporter, which led her to a longtime career as an official court reporter in Wichita County, Texas, first in the County Court at Law #1 and then in the 78th Judicial District Court. Sherri cherished her time at the Wichita County Courthouse and made lifelong friends, many of whom she considered to be family. Sherri loved music and was a beautiful pianist. She sang in the church choir for much of her adult life. She also loved to cook and was an avid reader. Sherri will be remembered most for her sweet spirit and kindness to everyone. Sherri is proceeded in death by her father, Elwyn Fulfer, and mother, Dorothy Fulfer. She is survived by her husband, Richard Harvey of Burleson. Son Matthew Rampy and wife Amy of Austin. Daughter Holly Baird and husband John of Dallas. Grandchildren Isabel and Griffin Rampy and Jack Baird. Brother Mike Fulfer and wife Cecile, niece Amanda Villanueva, and nephew Cameron Fulfer. Along with many beloved cousins, family members, and dear friends.
