Beloved mother of Ron Rose (Erica) and Syndika Rose (Shereon). Loving sister to Jan Rose, Ricky Rose, Randy Rose, Gena Rose, & Erica Rose. Loving grandmother to Khadijah Rose (26), Adam Rose (20), Reed Smith (15), Rylyn Gilmore (14), Synnika Rose (13) and Saniya Rose (10). Loving niece to Elijah Austin and Virgil Austin (Hazel). Loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Loving family member to a host of cousins and extended family members. Loving friend to Willie Setty and Sheryl Hightower. Preceded in death by her Father (Erlie Rose), Mother (Mary Ann Rose), Husband (Roosevelt Russell), Brothers (Billy Rose, Johnnie Rose, & Christopher Rose). Sherry spent many years in the high-end men’s fashion industry and retiring to become caretaker of her husband (Roosevelt). She was a fashionista that loved jewelry, purses, perfumes, shoes, and the latest fashion magazines. She loved her family and was a strong woman in her faith in Jesus Christ. Memorial service will be held September 11th, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
