Cleburne–Sidney Potter, 74, a bus driver for the Cleburne ISD, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Sidney Potter was born in Ottawa, Illinois, December 18, 1929, the son of Herbert and Louise (Seccombe) Potter. He married Dolores Jagodzinski on October 15, 1955, in LaSalle, Illinois. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He served as Commander and was a lifetime member of the LaSalle VFW. He was a heavy equipment machinist in LaSalle, Illinois before retiring and moving to Texas in 1992. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one son and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Dolores, of Cleburne, formerly of LaSalle, Illinois; three daughters, Karen Davis and husband, Dave, of Rio Vista, DebbieDonahue and husband, Mike, of Grayson, Georgia and Sherri Gardner and husband, Butch, of Matthews, North Carolina; four grandchildren; one brother, Stan Potter and wife, Pat, of St. Charles, Illinois and one sister Pat Small and husband George, of Ottawa, Illinois. Private graveside services will be held at D/FW National Cemetery on Monday, April 12, 2004. Memorials may be made to The Potter Family, P. O. Box 423, Rio Vista, Texas, 76093.
