Sondra Carmel Carter, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and cherished family member, passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 61.

Sondra will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the lasting memories she created with those who knew and loved her. Those who love her take comfort in knowing that she is now resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Sondra is survived by her mother, Charlotte Godwin Brummett; her daughter, Ann Marie Carter; her sons, Nicholas Carter and Jess, and Wade Carter and Samantha, grandson Oliver and her brothers, Paul Coutant, Charles Brummett, Terry Coutant and Leslie Brummett and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Her beloved husband Gary predeceased her in December 2024.

She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and will carry her memory in their hearts. While her earthly presence will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life and in knowing that Sondra is now home with her Lord and Savior.

May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of Christ, until the day her family is reunited with her again.
