Stacy Ames Manning ( Baum), born October 13 1963 passed at the age of 62 on January 25, 2026 in Ponder TX.
Stacy was born in 1963 adopted by an amazing couple Raymond and Harriet Baum. She was blessed with an older brother Mark "The adam baum" as she called him, who sparked her love of Sci-Fy passion of movies and Tv shows. She loved to call herself a gypsy at heart and loved to move around. She started in New York state and lived in places like Buffalo and Liverpool. She moved to Georgia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Maryland, Massachusettes, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Missouri, a few other places but stayed in Texas. She loved music, reading, making jewlery, sewing anything you could think of, saving all nature life, her family and friends, her fur babies of any and all species. She loved the hippie clothing, vibe and acceptance, as well as metal music. Some of her favorite bands The Cult, Stevie Nicks, Kiss, Avatar, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper and AC DC. She loved to go to concerts and all things music that she could.
Stacy was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Harriet Baum; her husband, John T. Manning; and her cherished fur babies, Anubis The Puppy Rex.
She is survived by her loving family: her older brother, Mark “Adam” Baum, his wife Teri, and their two daughters Leandra and Kiran. Her son, Tanner Ian Manning, his wife Ania, their son Luke and daughter Amber. Her daughter, Christina “Angel” Derden, her husband Jason, and their six children—Scott & girlfriend Breanna, Zachary & fiancees Ashley, Brendan & fiancees Victoria, Melody, Synphanie, and Justin. Stacy was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Jupiter, Orion, and Nova, born to Brendan and Victoria,
Stacy leaves behind her treasured tribe of sisters:
Sandra Ladd and her children, Scott and Allyson
Sandra Herring Wilson-Chaleph and her four children—Mario, Candice, Haley, and Robin—along with many great-nieces and great-nephews- Lydia, Evelyn, Delilah, Greyson, Alanzia, and Zaire.
Nikki, Lisa, and their families, including all the fur babies she loved so dearly.

There are countless others who touched Stacy’s heart and soul, and whose lives were forever changed by her love, strength, and spirit.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The family will share details as they become available.
