Suzanne Carol Douglas Evins, 55, of Burleson Texas died on July 26th 2025 at Texas Health Huguley Hospital six weeks after surviving an initial cardiac arrest at home on June 14th.
She was born in Jonesboro Arkansas, to Rebeca Douglas and Dale Johnson, on May 23rd, 1970. She grew up in Hoxie Arkansas under the care of her grandparents (Jack) Dempsey and Maida Long. She attended Arkansas State university where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1995. She was a loving mother who was devoted to being a homemaker and homeschooling teacher and will be dearly missed by her family.
She loved Jesus, her family, reading, gardening, flowers, key lime pie, and so much more.
She was united in marriage to Michael Evins on July 7th, 1990, they enjoyed 35 years of marriage in life and are waiting for many more in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents.
Survivors include: Husband Michael Evins of Burleson TX, and children, William (Scott) and Rhett Evins of Imboden AR, Jack and Alucia Evins of Fort Drum NY, Sarah, Maria (Elsie), Paul (David), and Liliana Evins of Burleson TX, mother Rebeca Douglas, brothers Eric, and Justin Douglas of Springfield MO, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A private service was held by the family.
