Terry Lynn Clement

Terry Lynn Clement, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026 at the age of 75. He was born on October 26, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Terry was a one-of-a-kind man who knew how to have fun and, more importantly, how to make sure the people around him were having fun too. He was the life of the party, always ready with a story, a laugh, a dance, or one of his famous sayings. His family will forever hear his voice in the words he loved to say, including, “That’s the way the mop flops” and simply, “Quack.” Those sayings became part of the family vocabulary and will continue to live on through his children and grandchildren.

One of Terry’s greatest loves was Elvis Presley. He knew just about everything there was to know about Elvis and could talk about him for hours. He loved doing the Elvis dances, and some of his grandchildren even called him “Elvis” when they were little. His favorite Elvis songs included “Unchained Melody,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “If I Can Dream.” His love for Elvis was such a special part of who he was that his family will always think of him when they hear those songs.

Terry was also devoted to his two beloved dogs, Boo Boo and Woof Woof. They were more than pets to him—they were his family. He loved them deeply and took them with him everywhere he went. If Terry was going somewhere, there was a good chance Boo Boo and Woof Woof were going too.

Terry leaves behind his three children, Victoria, Michael, and Yavon; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren, who were all a very special part of his life. He is also survived by his older brother, Gary, and younger sister, Sherrie.

He was preceded in death by his older brother, Victor.

Terry will be remembered for his big personality, his sense of humor, his love of Elvis, his famous dances and sayings, and most of all, the love he had for his family. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will carry his memory forward in the stories they tell, the laughter they share, the Elvis songs they hear, and even in the silly sayings that became part of their family because of him.

His body may be gone, but his voice, his laughter, his dances, and his love will remain with his family forever.

And knowing Terry, he probably would have wanted one last Elvis song playing as we said goodbye.
