Thomas Richard “Dick” Ross

Thomas Richard “Dick” Ross November 23, 1946 – August 11, 2023 Dad left us to be with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit on August 11, 2023. He was 77 years old. Dad had an early career as an inspiring actor/model in the late 60’s, early 70’s. His work included modeling in SEARS catalog, and few local television commercials. He met my mother while working at Six Flags over Texas as a gunfighter in the wild west show. After getting married he settled in a school furniture salesman for the rest of his career. Our family moved away from the DFW metroplex to Salado, TX in 1984 where he would often wear shorts and boots to WalMart and loved to rodeo and team rope. Mom and dad moved from Salado, TX, to Itasca, TX in 2003, where mom still lives today. Dick was a loving father, husband and friend to many. He leaves behind a wife, Cheryl, a son, Troy, a sister, Pam and a brother Randy. His heroes have always been cowboys. He will be missed.
