Vera Castles

Vera Castles walked into the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, in Fort Worth. Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial: Laurel Land, Fort Worth. Vera was born in Buffalo on May 17, 1925. She was a godly, gracious and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Viola Long; husband, Campbell E. Castles; son, Eugene Castles; brother, Bill Long; son-in-law, Joe Walker; and grandchildren, Patricia Castles and Troy Morris. Survivors: She is survived by son, Charles and wife, Mary, of Everman; daughter, Patti Walker of Saginaw; and son, Garry and wife, Tamie, of Mansfield. She has 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
