Virginia “Ginger” Beal Steege was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left to be with her heavenly father suddenly on August 27th, 2024 at age 74. Ginger had the biggest heart and was always willing to give and help where she saw she could, even if it was just a listening ear or to offer the shirt off her back. She always had a passion for education, earning her Master’s degree before going on to sharing her knowledge with thousands of students over the years. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting, drawing and playing the piano. Ginger was an avid gamer and could knock the socks off of anyone with trivia games. She accumulated many friends with her outgoing personality, not only in person but also online through gaming communities. She was a fighter through and through, always smiling through the sunshine and the rain. Ginger is survived by her daughters, Jennifer and Rebecca; her granddaughter, Emma; and her sisters,Kathy and Maggie. A celebration of life will be held on September 7th, 2024 from 1pm – 5pm at the Holiday Inn Express located at 201 HWY 287 N, Mansfield, TX 76063. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter, as she was passionate about the welfare and caring of all animals whether in her home or not.
