Walter Neal Brown Cleburne-Funeral services for Walter Neal Brown, 71, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at The Church Of The Holy Comforter, 209 E. Wardville, Cleburne, with Father Stephen Jones SSC officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Van Zandt, Rick David, Walter “Floyd” Brown, William Brown, Jack Brown, Jr. and Jimmy Brown. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, of Cleburne. Walter Neal Brown, a machinist, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2004 in a local hospital. He was born September 21, 1933 in Circleback, Texas, the son of Otthie Neal and Myrtle (Patterson) Brown. He served in the U. S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He was a member of The Church of The Holy Comforter. He married Mary Lea Alexander, December 23, 1954, in Clovis, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by two sons, Allen Ray Brown and Billy G. David, one sister, Viola Bridges and one brother, Jimmy Brown. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Mary Lea Brown, of Cleburne; sons, Rick David and wife, Tonya, of Midlothian and Walter F. Brown and wife, Rene, of Gunbarrel City; daughter, Kelly Van Zandt and husband, Randy;brother, Jack Brown; sister, Jean Brown; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
