Walter E. Parks

Walter Edward Parks passed peacefully in his home in Joshua, TX on January 22, 2026 at the age of 72 surrounded by loved ones.

Walter was born on December 1, 1953 in Dallas, TX to Susie Faye Dorety and Raymond Leeroy Parks.

He worked as a cable tv lineman for many years where he traveled the country and made many friends. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Walter enjoyed watching football and fishing and camping in his spare time. He was always working on something whether it was fixing something broken or rebuilding a boat with his friends.

He will be missed by those who survive him, Janis Louise Bruce his fiancé/wife, his brother Ernest Parks, his son William Parks and his wife Ammye Parks, son Jeffrey Parks, daughter Mary Parks, son John Parks, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
