Wilbur Wright Box

McKinney- Wilbur Wright Box, born October 1, 1921 in Healdton, Oklahoma Almost 92 years ago Jack W. W. Box was born to Elvin L and Kathryn McDowell Box as eldest of four. Following are brothers Harold, Gayle and youngest sister June. Jack fathered three sons, Ronald G, Stephen C and Gary V Box. Jack is survived by wife Carmen in Baton Rouge, LA, brother Gayle, sister June, three sons and their families with numerous neices, nephews, grandchildren and greats. A lover of God’s creation and fierce protector of those he loved. Jack served his country in the US Navy Pacific Fleet WWII and additionally survived the hardship of the Great Depression , cancer and the hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Jack was always physically strong, ruggedly ahndsome and had a constitution of quiet reserve strengthened by his faith in God and Christ, his savior. Truly exemplary of ‘the greatest generation’, Jack quietly gave up his heart’s strength and let his spirit soar to find peace among the pearly portals joining those before him and awaiting others with affectionate and encouraging words.
