Wilford Wayne Arvidson

CLEBURNE — Wilford Wayne Arvidson, 88, died peacefully Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 10:50 a.m.        Burial: Wilford will be interred in Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, next to his wife, Lessie, and son, Tony. He did not wish to have any services.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice of Texas, Hospice House, Burleson.        Wilford "Bud" Arvidson was born July 30, 1919, in Henning, Minn. He married Lessie Maurice Tucker in Fort Worth in 1949. Together they had five children, Sharron, Wayne, Tony, David and Cynthia. There are seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two sisters, Viola Hohage and Carol Johnstone.        He served his country during World War II and the Korean War in the Army. He transitioned to and retired from the Air Force. He then worked for and retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Fort Worth.        Dad, we miss you.
