BURLESON – William “Fred” Cummings, 78, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Fred retired form Lockheed Martin in 2000. After retirement he voluntered with Veterans Assistance of Texas, assiting veterans in applying for VA benefits. Survivors: Wife, Virginia Nell Cummings; sons, David and James; daughter, Mary K.; brothers, James, Ray and Perry; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
