William M. Johnson

William (Bill) M. Johnson passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020, in Arlington, Texas. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, April 26, 1949. William is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bobbyetta, his three children, William DeMichaels Johnson , Consuelo Dellorissa Johnson-Gordon, and Robert DeAngelo Johnson; seven grandchildren: Mahogani Johnson, Imoni (David) Johnson -Kirby, William D. Johnson Jr., Caleb Gordon, Amiah Gordon, Zayden Johnson, and Jayden Johnson; one great-grandchild: Josiah Sofela; three sisters: Wetonia Johnson, Galye (J.T.) Johnson-Thompson, Gina Johnson; one brother: Gerald (Ruth) Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close personal friends who will cherish very special moments with him. When Bill retired in 2006, he embraced his role as a mentor and tutor to the students of David Daniel Academy of Science and Mathematics. He also fully embraced his role as a servant in the Armstrong Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was active in the field ministry and tried to be a source of encouragement to everyone. Memorial Services for Bill will be held, Saturday, February 22, 2020, 1:00p.m., At the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 9031 Sedgemoor Ave., Dallas, TX 75232.
