Woodrow "Woody" Brimer

BURLESON — Woodrow “Woody” Brimer, 94, passed away on October 7, 2011. Funeral: 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Graveside Service: 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Carlton Cemetery in Carlton, Texas. Memorials may be made to Carlton Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 153 Carlton Texas 76436. Woody was a veteran of WWII. Woody was deeply committed to volunteer work. He spend the last 15 years as a volunteer at Huguley Hospital and was very active in the senior education program at Tarrant County College. He is preceded in death by his brothers, R.L. and wife Susie, Chester Lee, J.W., and Kenneth Brimer and wife, Frances and nephew, John Brimer Jr. Survivors; nephews, John Brimer and wife, Betty, Kim Brimer and wife, Janna, Lee Brimer and wife, Gail, Jim Brimer and wife, Joanne; nieces, Barbara York and husband, Clay and Kay Nader and husband James and sister in law, Nellie Gay Brimer; numerous great nieces and nephews.
