Fort Worth, TX – Zane Saunders left this world and went to Heaven on January 10, 2026.
He is survived by his mother Vicki Eviston Saunders, father and stepmother, Mark and Kathy Saunders, older brother Aaron Saunders, maternal grandparents Mike and Evelyn Eviston and paternal grandparents Connie and Dennis Saunders. He is also survived by his step siblings (Paige, Michael, Sarah, Chase and Holly) as well as his Aunt Lori and Uncle Dave Christensen, and his Uncle Tim Saunders. Zane also leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, cousins and countless family and friends who loved him.
According to his brother Aaron, Zane was the most compassionate, loving, and caring person, and many that knew him would agree. He never met a stranger and always made everyone feel welcome. He loved Blue Bell ice cream, fruit, Baja Blast, animals, and could fix just about anything that was broken, or at least he tried.
He enjoyed learning new things and working with his hands. His laugh was infectious, and his jokes were big enough to fill a room, it was nearly impossible not to laugh with him. His jokes were deep, unexpectedly funny, the kind that catch you off guard and truly encapsulated who he was and showed how smart he could be. Zane was always thoughtful and generous. Because of this, he was good at building long-lasting relationships. More than anything, he loved his friends and family and was always a phone call or text away, and always the first to say, “I love you.”
Zane’s spirit never wavered, and he very much looked forward to his future. His unexpected passing is even more heartbreaking, and his absence leaves an immeasurable hole in the hearts of all who loved him.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Zane was truly one of a kind!
